Energy work has been a major focus in my life for about 13 years because our youngest child was born with the cord wrapped tightly around her neck several times. It had been that way for several months. She hadn't been getting the oxygen she needed, nor the nutrition. She had brain damage and several physical problems as well. I had been learning and practicing alternative health for many years and that experience helped with the malnutrition problems. I started learning about energy work to help with the brain damage, since there seemed to be no other source of healing for her. At 15 months she couldn't roll over, crawl or even sit up by herself. Through much prayer, I discovered different energy sources and techniques that began the process of development for her. At 18 months she was rolling over, crawling at 20 months, and walking at 24 months. Her learning has been slow, but the ability to learn has been increasing over the years as I learn more. Very recently she has made leaps and bounds in her learning. It may take a few years to catch up, but I believe she will do it.
Along the journey, I started using the same techniques for myself and shortly eliminated a 20 year milk and wheat allergy. I was able to heal from hypoglycemia and severe Candida. I can now eat anything without experiencing digestive problems. Over the last 12 years I have taken many energy healing classes: Theraputic Touch, Brain Gym, Body Talk, Movement Therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques, Total Biology, Theta Healing, Emotion Code and Body Code. I have learned numerous techniques, and feel that really the technique is not that important. The most important element is getting the right place in the body connected with the emotion or belief that is keeping it stuck and releasing or reprogramming it. I have seen many people heal that tried for years with no success. God is the source that we look to for all healing, I am only the facilitator. God is the master healer - the source of light and truth. This is why my business is called Light Source Healing.
